The Kids Are Alright is a short film I shot and produced in partnership with Trout Unlimited. It tells the story of the 5 Rivers Ambassador Summit—an annual gathering where college anglers from across the country come together in rural Wyoming for a week of hands-on conservation, fly fishing, and community building. Hosted by Trout Unlimited, Indifly, and the Wind River Fish and Game Department, the summit highlights the next generation of conservation-minded anglers making a difference.
This short film was created for Trout Unlimited’s 5 Rivers program to explain what a 5 Rivers Rendezvous is. Held in four regions across the country—the Midwest, Southeast, Northeast, and West — these annual events bring together college fly fishing clubs for a weekend of conservation work, community building, and time on the water. The film showcases the spirit and purpose behind these regional gatherings and the growing community of student anglers nationwide.
Te Oraka is a short commercial I created as part of my Creative Marketing Communication course at the University of Otago. Partnering with a student-run thrift store on campus, the project aimed to highlight Te Oraka’s mission of sustainability, affordability, and community connection through storytelling and visual branding.
Cablecar to the End of the Rainbow is a personal film project shot entirely on my iPhone during a week-long backcountry fly fishing trip in New Zealand. Blending raw adventure with quiet moments of solitude, the film captures the magic of remote rivers, rugged landscapes, and the pursuit of wild trout at the edge of the world.
This short project was created to highlight the stories of students in the Western Washington University Entrepreneurship Program, with the goal of raising donations to support student-led ventures and future program initiatives.
